Privacy policy
Last updated October 4, 2026
GoBoard is a product of Stack Digital. This policy explains what we collect when you use www.goboard.app, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it short on purpose.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address, first and last name, and an optional profile photo.
- Your board: the folders, site addresses, titles and notes you save.
- Sign-in records: the time, browser and IP address of recent sign-ins, used to protect your account.
- Billing: if you subscribe, Stripe processes your payment. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status, never your card number.
How we use it
- To run the service: show your board, keep you signed in, and send account emails such as verification and password resets.
- To protect accounts: rate limiting, bot detection through Google reCAPTCHA, and sign-in history.
- To bill subscriptions through Stripe.
We do not sell personal information and we do not use your board contents for advertising.
Who else sees it
- Amazon Web Services hosts the application, database and uploaded photos.
- Stripe handles payments and stores your billing details under its own privacy policy.
- Google provides reCAPTCHA bot protection and the site icons shown on your tiles.
Your choices
- Edit your name and photo on the Profile page at any time.
- Delete your account from the Profile page. Your board, photo and sign-in history are removed and any subscription is cancelled.
- Email admin@goboard.app to ask for a copy of your data or with any privacy question.
Cookies
GoBoard uses a single sign-in cookie to keep you logged in and your browser's local storage to remember small preferences such as your theme and whether you dismissed the homepage tip. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Changes
If this policy changes in a meaningful way we will update the date above and note it on the site.
